Randy Ryder

Randy Ryder is a seasoned engineering professional currently serving as the Lead Engineer at New York State Electric & Gas (NYSEG), where they focus on greenfield and brownfield projects, particularly in the realm of renewable energy and protection and controls testing. Previously, they held various roles, including Senior Commissioning Engineer at TRC Companies, Inc. and Senior Relay Technician at NextEra Energy Resources, where they managed complex electrical and protective relaying systems. Randy's extensive experience also includes serving in the US Navy as an Electronics Technician on nuclear submarines, earning two Navy Achievement Medals. They hold a BSAST in Nuclear Technology from Thomas Edison State College and have pursued advanced training in nuclear power operations.
