Ali Khan

Chief Medical Officer, Value Based Care at Oak Street Health

Ali Khan is the Chief Medical Officer of Value Based Care at Oak Street Health. Ali has previously worked as the Staff Vice President at Anthem, Inc., where they led and directly managed product development teams in the design, execution and iteration of multiple clinical initiatives. Ali also served as the clinical lead and co-chief executive on multiple successful new market entries, including Dallas-Fort Worth (in partnership with Amerigroup Texas) and Raleigh-Durham-Chapel Hill (in partnership with BCBS North Carolina). In addition to their work at Anthem, Khan has also worked at The University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine and Doximity.

Ali Khan attended Harvard Kennedy School for their M.P.P., where they focused on health policy, public leadership, and health management. For their undergraduate studies, they attended Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine and received a B.S./M.D. in print journalism, political science, and medicine. Ali then completed a traditional internal medicine residency program at Yale University School of Medicine. After that, they went to Harvard Business School for value based health care delivery. Finally, they were a medical education leadership scholar at the University of Michigan.
