Matt Cowie

Matt Cowie serves as the Assistant General Manager and Director of Operations at the Mullins Center under the Oak View Group since August 2023. Prior experience includes roles as Facility Manager and Safety Officer for the Town of South Hadley, overseeing municipal operations, and as Director of Operations at Mullins Center with Spectra, focusing on facility safety and event staff training. Additional experience spans from Senior Event Manager to Event Manager at Feld Entertainment, managing logistics for Monster Jam events, and Venue Manager at Alli Sports, ensuring sponsorship projects were executed successfully. Early career involvement includes an internship with the United States Golf Association, contributing to operations for the US Open Championships. Cowie holds a B.A. in Sports Management from the University of Massachusetts Amherst and a certification in OSHA Public Sector Safety and Fundamentals in General Industry & Construction from Keene State College.
