Lauren Childs

Lauren Childs, Ph.D., is a Special Instructor for Clinical Education at Oakland University since August 2019 and has been involved with Oakland Schools since 2004, where roles include Supervisor for Instruction and Pedagogy and School Quality Consultant. Previously, Lauren Childs served as a teacher at Walled Lake Consolidated Schools from 1996 to 2004. Academic credentials include a M.A. and Ph.D. in Instructional Design, Technology, and Educational Psychology from Michigan State University, earned between 1987 and 1996, and a Bachelor of Science in Special Education and Teaching from Indiana University Bloomington, obtained from 1977 to 1981.
