Bernardo Garcia Monroy

Bernardo Garcia Monroy is a seasoned professional in asset management and process engineering with extensive experience in the manufacturing sector. Currently serving as the Global Maintenance Lead at Oatly since February 2016, Bernardo focuses on enhancing global maintenance initiatives and oversees the optimization of processes and production lines while ensuring safety, sustainability, and effective coordination with external suppliers. Prior roles include Technical Training & Development Manager and Process Engineer at Oatly, Maintenance Engineer at Finax Bakery, and Customer Care Manager at Fundición y Mecánica Susano Solis. Bernardo began a career in engineering after earning a Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering from Universidad Iberoamericana, Ciudad de México in 2008 and has also managed manufacturing processes at Kimberly-Clark and participated in quality and safety projects as a trainee at Ternium.
