Colin Johnson

Colin Johnson is a seasoned professional in emergency management and campus safety, currently serving as the Supervisor of Campus Safety at Oberlin College since June 2025. With a diverse background that includes roles as a Senior Program Specialist in Emergency Preparedness at The Center for Health Affairs and a Security Forces member in the US Air Force Reserve, Colin has extensive experience in leading safety operations, incident response, and regional preparedness coordination. Previous positions include an Environmental Health Safety Specialist at Amazon, where operational leadership skills were applied to workplace safety initiatives, and an Emergency Management Specialist at Vectrus, focusing on collaboration with government agencies during emergencies. Colin holds a B.S. in Emergency Management and Homeland Security from The University of Akron and an Associate's degree in Crisis/Emergency/Disaster Management from the Community College of the Air Force.
