Joshua Whitson

Joshua Whitson currently serves as the Associate Dean for Intercultural Engagement at Oberlin College, where responsibilities include managing SEVIS compliance, advising international students, and leading the International Student Support Team. Prior to this role, Joshua held positions at The Ohio State University, including SEVIS Data Analyst and Immigration Coordinator, and worked as an International Student Advisor at Allegheny College. In addition to extensive experience in higher education, Joshua was a Fulbright Scholar in March 2024, recognized for contributions to international education. Joshua's academic background includes a Master of Theological Studies from Harvard University, along with studies in Mandarin Chinese and a Bachelor's degree in Religion from Baldwin Wallace University.
