O'Bryant Class of 1996, Inc. is a nonprofit alumni organization incorporated in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Founded by graduates of the John D. O'Bryant School of Mathematics & Science, we exist to honor our school, invest in its students, and keep our class connected — through scholarship, annual events, and a permanent alumni network built to last.

To reconnect, celebrate, and invest in the O'Bryant community. We honor the school that shaped us by funding scholarships for current students, building a lasting alumni network, and creating meaningful opportunities for the Class of 1996 to come together — starting with our 30th Anniversary Homecoming Gala on June 20, 2026.

We are entirely alumni-led and alumni-funded — no institutional backing, no outside agenda. Every dollar raised goes directly back to our community through scholarships and programming. We are also one of the few O'Bryant alumni organizations to formally incorporate as a 501(c)(3), giving our work permanence and accountability beyond any single event.

We operate as a lean, volunteer-run board with three founding officers. Work is distributed across events, communications, fundraising, and community outreach. We move fast, stay transparent with our members, and make decisions rooted in what's best for the school and the class.

We are a volunteer-led organization governed by a founding board of officers. Decisions are made collaboratively, with a focus on serving both the Class of 1996 and the current students of the John D. O'Bryant School. Our work is funded through membership dues, ticket sales, and corporate partnerships.
