Di-Ann is a company builder focusing on the future of cities around the world. Prior to joining Obvious as a Venture Partner, Di-Ann was Director of Urban Systems at Google’s Area 120. Previously she started the U.S. office of Waze in 2009, having founded the Connected Citizens Program with 650 cities in an effort to decrease congestion and improve emergency response times. Di-Ann invests in, sits on the board of, and advises on urban systems and culture with Super Nature Labs, Saia Inc., and Meetup (acquired by WeWork). She speaks on the subject of urban infrastructure and the importance of being wise stewards of exponential technologies at the service of people around the world. Together with Lupe Fiasco, she co-founded Neighborhood Start Fund which supports entrepreneurs in underserved neighborhoods. Di-Ann is a Henry Crown Fellow and member of the Aspen Global Leadership Network.
