Shawn Shao

Shawn Shao has a diverse work experience in various industries and roles. Shawn started their career as a Photo-lab Monitor and Librarian at the University of Iowa from January 2015 to December 2017. In 2019, they worked as a Teaching Assistant at Musashino Art University. Shawn then ventured into the architectural and design fields, working at Torafu Architects as a Trial from March to April 2021, and at Keiji Ashizawa Design as a Designer from February to June 2021. In 2022, they joined AlphaSights as an Associate from January to March, and is currently a Product Manager at Oceania International since November 2022.

Shawn Shao pursued a Master's degree in Industrial and Interior Design from Musashino Art University from 2019 to 2021. Prior to that, from 2013 to 2017, they completed a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) in Three-Dimensional Design at the University of Iowa. In 2015, Shawn attended Studio Arts College International, where they studied Art History, Criticism, and Conservation, although no specific degree was mentioned.
