Scott Mitchell

Scott Mitchell has had a long and varied career in the corporate world. Scott began their professional journey in 2000 when they founded DoubleDrum Capital. In 2001, they founded OCEG (Open Compliance & Ethics Group) and served as its Chair and CEO. In 2006, they joined the Advisory Board of Rutgers University, where they were involved with the International Journal of Disclosure and Governance. In 2009, they joined the Board of the Children's Museum of Phoenix, and was part of the Governance Committee. In 2010, they founded GRC Certify and served as a Board Member. In 2012, they joined LoopLogic as a Board Member. In 2016, they became an Entrepreneur In Residence at Cerebrum. In 2017, they joined the Advisory Board of Harvest of Hope Family Services Network, Inc. In 2018, they joined Mensa International's Risk Committee. In 2015, they joined the Board of the Woodson Center (formerly Center for Neighborhood Enterprise), where they are involved with the Violence-Free Zone youth violence reduction program and Training and Technical Assistance for Community/faith-Based Organizations.

Scott Mitchell obtained a Bachelor of Science (Honors Program) from Miami University, where they studied Accountancy, Information Systems, Decision Science, and East Asian Studies. Prior to that, they attended Walsh Jesuit High School. Scott also holds two certifications from GRC Certify: GRC Auditor (obtained in December 2014) and GRC Professional Certification (obtained in May 2019).
