John Greenhalgh

John Greenhalgh is currently the VP of Finance at Octo. Prior to joining Octo, John served as the Director of Financial Planning & Analysis at Cognosante from October 2015 to August 2019. Before their time at Cognosante, John was the Director of Finance at Sotera Defense Solutions, Inc. from June 2012 to October 2015, where they provided planning and analysis, reporting, indirect rate structure, and strategy support to the operational division leads, corporate service centers, Accounting, executive management, and private equity owners. John also served as the Director of Finance at MVM, Inc. from March 2008 to June 2012, where they were responsible for leading the finance team in planning, forecasting, financial reporting and analysis, pricing, and program controls. Additionally, John has held positions as a Senior Financial Analyst in the Program Controls Organization at BearingPoint and as the Director of Finance & Corporate Development at Summit Drug Development Services LLC.

John Greenhalgh has a BS in Psychology (Premed, Spanish minors) from James Madison University. John is currently pursuing their Masters of Public Health (MPH) with a focus in Public Health, Epidemiology at The George Washington University. In the future, they plan to obtain their MBA in Finance from the University of Maryland - Robert H. Smith School of Business.
