Guillaume Gruere

Guillaume Gruere serves as the Acting Deputy Director in the Trade and Agriculture Directorate at OECD, a position held since September 2012, overseeing a division focused on agriculture and fisheries policies with a team of 30-35 staff. Gruere has led various efforts related to climate change, environment, and water policies in agriculture and has been integral to projects including OECD's Agricultural Policy Monitoring and Evaluation report and contributions to the G20 agriculture track. Prior to joining OECD, Gruere held significant research roles at the International Food Policy Research Institute, working on agriculture, environment, and trade, and received a PhD in Agricultural and Resource Economics from the University of California, Davis. Educational credentials include a post-graduate certificate in Nanotechnology from the University of Oxford and multiple degrees in agronomy and environmental economics from AgroParisTech.
