John Blake

John Blake is a senior leader in education, charity, and public sectors with a focus on educational equality and reform. They currently serve as the Director for Fair Access and Participation at the Office for Students. Previously, they held various influential positions including Head of Education and Social Reform at Policy Exchange, and Director of Policy and Strategy at Now Teach. John also has extensive experience in teaching and academia, having worked in several educational roles including Assistant Head at the London Academy of Excellence and Head of Humanities at Plashet School. They hold a BA in Modern History from the University of Oxford and an MSt in Advanced History Teaching from the University of Cambridge.
