Maria Miller

Maria Miller currently serves as Of Counsel at Ogletree Deakins, providing expert advice on employee and labor relations for union-represented workforces. Previously, Maria held various leadership roles at KQED, including Chief Operations and Administrative Officer and Vice President of HR and Chief Labor & Employment Counsel, where efforts focused on HR operations, labor negotiations, and organizational improvement. Earlier experience includes serving as Deputy Director of Labor Relations at Bayer HealthCare and holding multiple HR and legal positions at ABM Industries, where strategies for legal compliance and labor relations were developed. Maria began a legal career as an Associate Attorney at Kenney & Markowitz and as a Litigation Attorney at Farmers Insurance. Maria holds a Juris Doctor from the University of San Francisco School of Law and a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science from Santa Clara University.
