Knut Karila

Knut Karila is an experienced professional in the field of engineering and project management, currently serving as Business Opportunity Manager, Project Director, and Vice President Field Development at OKEA ASA since November 2015. Prior to this role, Knut worked at Aibel from January 1998 to November 2015 in various capacities, including Senior Project Manager and Location Manager. Earlier career experience includes positions as Project Engineer at Industrikonsult Trondheim AS, specializing in offshore oil and gas projects, and Senior Structural Engineer at Raufoss AS, focusing on the development of aluminium structures. Knut holds a Master's Degree in Structural Engineering from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU), completed in 1984.
