Kaan Certel

Kaan Certel is an experienced professional in the biotechnology and pharmaceutical industries, currently serving as Chief Business Officer at Omega Therapeutics and previously at BioCity Biopharma. With a robust background in oncology, Kaan held the position of Global Head of Oncology External Innovation at Sanofi. Prior roles include Group Leader in Therapeutic Discovery Sciences at X-Chem, Inc. and Senior Scientist at X-BODY Biosciences, now known as Juno Therapeutics. Kaan earned a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Genetics from the University of Iowa and a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology from the University of Nebraska at Omaha.
