Healthcare marketing and communications company Omnicom Health Group has announced that Tom Edwards is joining its leadership team as Chief Digital Officer. Mr. Edwards will oversee all aspects of the group’s digital and data operations, with a specific focus on expanding strategic services, enhancing data platforms and integration, and using advanced data and technology to empower its network.

Mr. Edwards has more than 20 years of senior leadership experience in marketing, strategy and innovation, most recently as Chief Marketing Officer at gaming-oriented agency Tripleclix. He is a prominent speaker at forums including TEDx, Ad Age Data, and Mobile World Congress, and is considered an industry leader in AI, data and digital transformation.
Mr. Edwards has been highly recognized with awards such as the OnCon Icon Top 50 Global Marketer Award, 2020CX Summit Digital Marketing Professional of the Year, 2020 and 2019 Professional of the Year for Marketing & Emerging Technology, 2019 Tech Titan Technology Advocate award, and the 2019 Marketing Trailblazer & Contributor award.
