Paul Kirkpatrick

In this role, Kirkpatrick will lead the Omnitracs legal organization and provide strategic advice to the executive leadership team. He will oversee initiatives including mergers and acquisitions, securities and compliance, intellectual property and other corporate matters.

Prior to joining Omnitracs, Kirkpatrick served as Vice President, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary for Commercial Metals Company, where he was responsible for overseeing global legal functions for the NYSE listed, Fortune 500 company. Kirkpatrick advised senior management and the Board of Directors concerning a wide range of legal, regulatory, and business issues, including corporate, securities, governance, mergers and acquisitions and litigation matters. Earlier in his career, Kirkpatrick served as a transactional and securities attorney at Haynes and Boone, LLP, a law firm based in Dallas, Texas, where he represented both private and public company clients.

Kirkpatrick is a graduate of SMU’s Dedman School of Law and Baylor University, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in History.
