Carolina Feijao

Carolina Feijao is an experienced professional with a strong background in research, policy advising, and academic management. Currently serving as an Associate Programme at On Purpose London since October 2025, Carolina previously worked as a Senior Policy Advisor at the Royal Academy of Engineering, managing a team and enhancing the Academy's influence in research and innovation policy. Prior to that, Carolina held roles as a Senior Analyst and Analyst in Science and Emerging Technology at RAND Europe, where leadership in project delivery and funding proposal development was emphasized. Carolina's expertise extends to managing peer-reviewed scientific journals at Frontiers and conducting research during a PhD at the University of Cambridge, which was complemented by a Professional Internship with the Department of Food and Rural Affairs. Educationally, Carolina holds a Ph.D. in Biochemistry from the University of Cambridge, a Master's in Quantitative Biology from Imperial College London, and a Bachelor's in Biology from the University of Lisbon.
