Bjorn Thaler

Bjorn oversees the financial strategy and operations for One Medical. Leveraging more than 20 years of experience in healthcare, private equity investing, and investment banking, Bjorn ensures the company strategically invests in One Medical’s continued growth, while maintaining financial discipline. Prior to joining One Medical, Bjorn was with CVS Health/Aetna, where he served as CFO of Transformation and SVP of Corporate Development & Enterprise Economics. He also worked in a number of senior financial leadership roles at Aetna, including CFO of Consumer and Healthcare Services and VP of Treasury and Corporate Development. He also helped shepherd the deal of CVS’ acquisition of Aetna. Bjorn has deep experience in investment banking from his time at Barclays Capital/Lehman Brothers and Citigroup. He holds a law degree from the University of Vienna and an MBA from the University of Economics in Vienna, Austria and the University of South Carolina.
