John Yakawich

John Yakawich is currently a One Young World Ambassador and a Process Support Engineer at BP, a position held since August 2015. Prior experience at BP includes roles as a Hydroprocessing Engineer Intern and Process Engineer Intern, where evaluations, site investigations, and project optimizations were key responsibilities. A foundational experience includes a role as a Process Safety Engineer Intern, where John contributed to the refinery’s Risk Management Plan. Prior to BP, John worked as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at Montana State University-Bozeman, conducting research in the Magnetic Resonance Lab and tutoring in various subjects. John Yakawich holds a B.S. in Chemical and Biological Engineering from Montana State University-Bozeman, earned in May 2015.
