Janice Baker

Janice Baker is the Chief Human Resources Officer at OneOncology. Janice has been with the company since September 2020 and has been instrumental in establishing HR best practices and overseeing the shared HR resources for our partner practices and corporate employees.

Under Janice's leadership, the human capital strategy was set to support OneOncology's rapid growth and position the Company for the next phase of the organization. This included designing and building the people and talent team, which is a center of expertise for compensation, benefits, policies, HR systems, talent acquisition and talent development.

Janice also worked with partner practice HR teams to standardize HR systems and processes to ensure a similar employee experience across the organization. Additionally, they oversaw the transition from a fully insured to self-insured benefits model which realized an initial 15% annualized savings.

In Talent Acquisition, Janice successfully integrated Workday HCM companywide, moving all practices and corporate employees to one common platform. Janice also partnered with the COO to smoothly integrate new practices into the OneOncology platform.

As an HR executive, Janice interacts with the Board of Managers and equity partners on the people strategy. Janice is a proven leader in their field and has been instrumental in making OneOncology the successful company it is today.

Janice Baker has a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Kansas State University. Janice also has a Certificate in Diversity and Inclusion from eCornell. Janice is currently enrolled in an Executive Human Resources program at the University of Michigan - Stephen M. Ross School of Business. Janice also has a Certificate in Human Resources Management from Chapman University Extension.

Their manager is Jeff Patton, CEO & Board Member. They are on a team with Lee Schwartzberg - Chief Medical Officer & Board Member, Robin Shah - Chief Commercial Officer, and David Stewart - Chief Information Officer.
