Telecommunications IoT provider Onomondo has hired Juliana Geller as its new Digital Marketing Manager. A proud Brazilian, Juliana’s role is to strategize and plan marketing campaigns and web development solutions to help Onomondo connect with new and existing partners and customers.
Juliana has more than a decade of marketing experience in Brazil, the UK and Denmark. She comes to Onomondo from events company TechBBQ, where, as Head of Marketing, she established the structure within the company’s marketing department, coordinated marketing strategies for new events and helped to boost overall ticket sales by 120 percent year on year. She has also served in influential marketing roles with companies including Hive360, Street UK, and her own consultancy business, Digital Compass
“What I’m looking forward to most is making Onomondo a household name in IoT connectivity. Everyone that's thinking about groundbreaking connectivity solutions is gonna think of that little Danish company called Onomondo, who's doing things differently,” Juliana said. “It’s my job to think about how we do that, and how we make everyone think about us. There are a number of things in the pipeline now that are so exciting and there could be some really big breakthroughs in 2021.”
Juliana has lived abroad for nine years, and enjoys the relationships she’s able to build with colleagues and friends from around the world. Growing up in Brazil, moving between a town in the Amazon and an island in the south, she developed a passion for being in the water, particularly diving, sailing and surfing. Interestingly, she also had a pet sloth called Lily as a child.
