Alisha Monnette, PhD, MPH has extensive experience in healthcare research and consulting. Most recently, they served as a Sr. Outcomes Researcher at Ontada. Prior to that, they founded and served as the CEO/Lead Consultant at Monnette Consulting LLC, where they offered research-driven consulting services. Alisha also worked with the Institute of Women and Ethnic Studies as a Mental Health Trauma Informed Division Consultant and with McKesson as an Outcomes Researcher. In addition, Monnette worked as a Data Manager and Research Assistant at Tulane University School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine, where they managed multiple on-going grant-funded projects on a wide array of topics. Alisha also served as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at the same institution. At BCBSLA/Tulane University Partnership for Healthcare Innovation, Monnette worked as a Project Coordinator. Other roles they held include serving as a Health Care Analytics Intern at Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Louisiana, a Recruiter at Willis Towers Watson's OneExchange, a Graduate Teaching Assistant, Research Assistant and Administrative Assistant at University of Miami, Miller School of Medicine. Lastly, Monnette was a Director of Finance at Students for Equity and Diversity.
Alisha Monnette, PhD, MPH received their Bachelor of Science degree in Management Information Systems from The University of Texas at Austin. Alisha later earned their Master of Public Health degree in Public Health from the University of Miami. Alisha went on to obtain their Doctor of Philosophy degree in Health Policy and Management from Tulane University School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine.
