Latisha Vincent-Waters is a dedicated research fellow at Open Society Foundations, focusing on the narratives of justice-impacted individuals in South Carolina, and previously served as the founding executive director of the Black Liberation Fund, where initiatives included bail advocacy and record clearing. Latisha has authored works for Blaque Girl Conscious and has held various roles, including executive assistant at Alliance For Full Acceptance and technology educator at Charleston Development Academy Public Charter School. With a background in technology education and extension services at SC State University, Latisha possesses strong skills in community engagement, project management, and communication, complemented by a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communications from Claflin University.
