Liz Conlan

Liz Conlan has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Liz currently works as a Senior Software Engineer at OpenCorporates since September 2019. Prior to that, Liz worked at mySociety from March 2014 to August 2019, where they were involved in various projects including Alaveteli, an open-source project for simplifying Freedom of Information requests.

Liz also has experience working at UK Parliament, where they held different roles from April 2003 to March 2014. Liz worked as a Developer and Service Designer from April 2008 to March 2014, as a Web Developer from January 2006 to March 2008, and as a Web Developer from April 2003 to December 2006.

In addition, Liz has worked as an Electoral Count Assistant at the London Borough of Hillingdon in May 2010, as a Web Developer at Systemax Europe from June 2000 to September 2002, and as a Developer at Starkmann Limited from December 1999 to June 2000. Liz also worked as a Freelance Multimedia Developer at various City firms from September 1999 to November 1999 and as a Programmer at Delta Crompton Cables from January 1998 to May 1999.

Liz Conlan has a strong educational background in information technology and computing. In 2006, they attended The Open University and obtained a BSc (Hons.) degree in Information Technology and Computing, which they completed in 2014. Liz furthered their studies at The Open University from 2009 to 2010 and earned an Undergraduate Certificate in Web Applications Development.
