Eric Ertmann

Eric Ertmann is a seasoned design professional with extensive experience in leading design teams across various high-profile companies. Currently serving as Senior Design Manager at Opendoor, Eric oversees the design for Consumer Products, focusing on facilitating direct transactions between buyers and sellers in the housing market. Previously, Eric held managerial roles at Coinbase, where contributions included enhancing identity and onboarding processes and developing top revenue-generating products like asset staking and Coinbase One. Prior experiences include positions at Meta and Airbnb, where Eric managed design for community engagement and guest experience, respectively. Eric began a career at Facebook, playing a pivotal role in the growth of Facebook Groups, and also worked at Bloomberg and Hurley, further showcasing a diverse skill set in user experience and product design. Eric holds a Master's degree in Human-Computer Interaction from Carnegie Mellon University and a Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design from California State University, Chico.
