Taehun Kang

Taehun Kang is a Software Engineer at OPENEDGES Technology, Inc., specializing in Neural Processing Unit (NPU) software development with a focus on RISC-V Vector extensions. Current responsibilities include managing computation kernel development, firmware creation for RISC-V based NPUs, and developing compiler and quantizer transformation passes for neural network optimization. Prior experience includes a role as an Associate Consultant Trainee at Bain & Company, contributing to a Post-Merger Integration project in the e-mobility industry, and serving as a Graduate Student Researcher at Seoul National University, where research centered on AI acceleration systems and computer system performance modeling.
