Simon Bastarache

Simon Bastarache has extensive experience in project management and engineering across multiple sectors. At ABGG Technologies Inc., Simon served as Project Manager from October 2005 to October 2008. Following this, roles included Project Engineer at Philip Morris International (November 2013 - June 2015) and Project Engineer at HMI Construction Inc. (October 2008 - May 2011). Simon held various positions at Optel, starting as Head of Global Strategy (February 2018 - December 2020), then advancing to Global Account Director and Product Line Manager (September 2020 - June 2023), before assuming the role of Sales Director in June 2023. Formerly, Simon was a Project Manager at Optel Vision (June 2015 - January 2017) and Construction Manager at Ecosystem Energy Services Inc. (May 2011 - November 2013). Simon holds a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Université du Québec - École de Technologie supérieure (2010 - 2012) and a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Université Laval (2001 - 2005).
