Christy Katagiri has over 28 years of experience in health promotion and operations management within the healthcare sector. Currently serving as the Director of Optum Workplace Well-being since February 2011, Christy oversees new client implementation, manages recruitment and training for Health Promotion Specialists, and ensures operational efficiency. Prior roles include Sr. Manager of Wellness Operations at OptumHealth, focusing on quality management and coaching program enhancements, and Business Manager of UHC Business Operations at UnitedHealthcare, where collaboration with leadership led to quality improvements and service level management. Early career experience includes a position as a Health Educator at Little Falls Community Schools. Christy holds a Bachelor of Science in School and Community Health from Winona State University.
