James Hopkins has a diverse work experience spanning several roles and industries. James is currently working as a Manager of Customer Success at O'Reilly Media. Prior to this, James worked as a Creative Writer, publishing a novel and children's story, as well as poetry and short stories. James also has experience in the e-learning industry, serving as a Partner Success Manager and Customer Success Consultant at Skillsoft, where they managed customers and partners in different regions and provided coaching and consultation. James also worked as a Service Delivery Co-ordinator at KnowledgePool, where they provided colleague support for learning systems. Additionally, they served as a Quality Assurance Team Leader at Lion Claimline, where they improved operational performance and processes.

James Hopkins attended the Royal Latin School from 1999 to 2005, although no specific degree or field of study is provided. James then continued their education at The Open University from 2012 to 2018, where they obtained a BSc (Honours) degree in Natural Sciences with a focus on Chemistry.
