Christina L.j. McDonald

Christina L.J. McDonald currently serves as General Counsel for North America at Orica, a position held since June 2023. Previously, Christina held various roles at Newmont Corporation from 2018 to 2023, culminating as Assistant General Counsel for Transactions, where responsibilities included managing corporate and global transactional risks and providing strategic legal advice. Prior experience also includes positions at United Rentals as Legal Affairs Manager, and multiple roles in legal practice, including Of Counsel at The Johansen Law Office and Associate Attorney at Dewey & LeBoeuf LLP. Christina holds a B.S. in Journalism with High Distinction from The University of Kansas and a J.D. from the University of Denver - Sturm College of Law.
