David Pelham

David Pelham is an experienced director who has worked with a number of companies in the mining industry. David is currently serving as an independent non-executive director for Oriole Resources. Prior to this, they were with Sierra Morena Exploration Limited from September 2014 to June 2017, where they served as a director. Their responsibilities included identifying suitable high quality, advanced gold and base metal projects worldwide.

From July 2013 to June 2018, Pelham was also a director with Hummingbird Resources plc. David stepped aside as Technical Director in July 2013 to become a Non-Exec Director when the company changed from being an exploration only company to undertaking a Preliminary Economic Analysis (PEA) on its 4.2 Moz Dugbe 1 gold project in Liberia. In addition, in 2014 Hummingbird acquired the Yanfolila project in Mali from Gold Fields Ltd and built, commissioned and operated the +100,000 oz per year Yanfolila gold mine in South Mali. Hummingbird also continued with brownfield exploration along the Yanfolila Gold Belt during Pelham's tenure.

Pelham's experience and expertise have been valuable assets to the companies they have worked with. Their knowledge of the mining industry and their ability to identify and acquire high quality projects has helped their companies to be successful.

David Pelham has a MSc in Exploration Geology from Rhodes University and a degree from Hebron School in Ootacamund, South India.
