Diego Vanegas

Diego Vanegas is currently the Solutions Director at Orion Infiniti. Prior to this, they were the SAP SuccessFactors Product Chief at EL TIEMPO Casa Editorial from January 2016 to June 2017. In this role, they enabled organizations in Colombia to achieve business goals through the alignment of the corporate strategy with business execution. Diego deployed performance management models based on SAP SuccessFactors HCM cloud software.

Before their time at EL TIEMPO Casa Editorial, Diego Vanegas worked as a Systems Sales Rep at Oracle from August 2012 to June 2015. In this role, they were responsible for the indirect sales revenue of Oracle hardware solutions to an assigned account base in Argentina, Chile, Uruguay and the Caribbean Islands; through the affiliate partner network in these territories. Diego planned and executed activities within the territory to identify, develop and close sales opportunities; using outbound calls, remote customer presentations, partner technical and commercial support, and consultative sales techniques. Additionally, they managed customer relationships and collaborated with value added distributors and channel partners to enhance territory effectiveness and incremental footprint.

Prior to their work at Oracle, Diego Vanegas was the Managing Partner at Estrategia Ambiental SAS from February 2009 to April 2018.

Diego Vanegas has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Universidad de Los Andes, a Professional Degree in Business Management from Universidad Autónoma de Bucaramanga, and a BScM - Bachelor Honours in Science of Management (BAC+4) from Montpellier Business School.

Diego Vanegas reports to Juan Penagos, General Manager. They work with Isaac Arismendi - Software Leader, Antonio García - Industrial and Commercial Control Director, and Mariela Anaya - Administrative and Finance Advisor.
