Christer Grönberg

EVP, Group Functions at Orkla

Christer Grönberg is the EVP of Group Functions at Orkla. Christer has over 25 years of experience in human resources, with a focus on organizational development, change management, and leadership.

Grönberg began their career in human resources at Procordia Food in 2002. Christer was promoted to Director of Human Resources in 2006, and oversaw the HR processes during the merger between Procordia Food and Orkla Foods in 2008. In 2010, they were promoted to Director of Human Resources at Orkla Foods. During their tenure, they led the organization and HR processes during the Rieber acquisition, and initiated the Orkla Foods structural program for production footprint. Christer also improved Orkla Foods EHS work to reduce injuries and sick absence.

In September 2014, Grönberg was promoted to EVP of Group Functions at Orkla. In this role, they are responsible for leading the Group’s functions, including Human Resources, Communications, Legal, Sustainability, and Strategy.

They work with Hege Holter Brekke - EVP & CEO, Orkla Care, Paul Jordahl - Executive Vice President & CEO, Orkla Foods Europe, and Ingvill T. Berg - Executive Vice President & CEO, Orkla Confectionery & Snacks. Christer Grönberg reports to Nils K. Selte, President & CEO.
