Monica Lee-Griffith

As president of Women’s Services for Orlando Health, Monica Lee-Griffith, MD, MBA, is responsible for advancing clinical programs, transforming care delivery in women's health and working across clinical disciplines for the advancement of integrated care on behalf of female patients from across the region. With more than 20 years of experience, she has an extensive background in leading the care and conversation around female patients.

A skilled and committed physician, Monica is a board-certified OB-GYN and practicing OB-GYN hospitalist at Orlando Health Winnie Palmer Hospital for Women and Babies. She provides high-quality patient care and superior teaching within culturally diverse environments. Monica also is a member of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services’ Premier Maternal and Infant Health National Advisory Panel.

Before joining Orlando Health, Monica held progressive leadership roles within the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Henry Ford Health System in Detroit. Most recently, she was director of maternal health equity and responsible for driving innovation and enhancement to reduce maternal and infant morbidity and mortality within the communities served by the healthcare system.

Monica earned her medical degree from Wayne State University School of Medicine in Detroit and was recognized for her biomedical research. Her residency in obstetrics and gynecology was performed at Detroit Medical Center, where she was chief resident her final year.

She is a fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. She also received her executive MBA from the University of Michigan Ross School of Business in Ann Arbor.
