MacKenzie Kimm

MacKenzie Kimm is a Heritage Planner III at the City of Ottawa since February 2018, with extensive experience in reviewing heritage permit applications, development review, and heritage policy development, along with managing new Heritage Conservation Districts and processing Part IV designations. Previously held positions include Heritage Planner II at the City of Ottawa and Planner (Heritage) at the City of Kingston, where responsibilities encompassed processing heritage permits, creating Terms of Reference for Heritage Conservation Districts, public education on heritage properties, and making presentations. Initial experience includes serving as a Heritage Planning Assistant for the City of Ottawa and a Researcher at Heritage Canada National Trust. MacKenzie Kimm holds a Master of Urban Planning from McGill University, a Master of Science in Architectural Conservation from The University of Edinburgh, and a Bachelor of Arts in History and Theory of Architecture from Carleton University.
