Locke Hughes

Locke Hughes is currently the head of health content at ŌURA, managing editorial content on the website, email, and in-app. Previous roles include managing editorial and social content at THE WELL, a wellness center in New York City, and obé Fitness, a digital fitness app.

Locke began her career in print, working at the Oprah Magazine, Woman's Day, and Shape Magazine, continuing in the digital media space with roles at Greatist and WebMD. She has also been a freelance journalist for publications such as HuffPost, Thrive Global, Women's Health, MindBodyGreen, and NBC News; wrote a book about sleep; and completed a health coaching program at Emory University.

Hailing from Florida, Locke lived in New York City for nearly a decade, and now calls the mountains of Park City, Utah, home. She holds a B.A. with honors in English Literature from the University of Virginia.
