Mary Brite

VP, Outpatient Services at Outreach

Mary Brite’s career in the health and human services field began and evolved exclusively at Outreach. Through her passion and dedication, she became Vice President of Long Island Outpatient Services in 2017 and moved up to become Vice President of Outpatient Services in 2019, a role in which Brite oversees all the agency’s outpatient programs on Long Island and in New York City.

She shares her specialized expertise in these areas through industry workgroups as well as speeches and presentations at peer-led conferences.

Currently, Brite is Co-Chair of the Women and Families Committee for the New York State Alcohol and Substance Abuse Providers (ASAP) association, and a member of OASAS’s Clinical Advisory Workgroup (CAP).

Brite also serves as a board member of the National Institute of Health’s Healing Communities project in Brookhaven, NY, designed to address the opioid crisis and reduce opioid use disorder (OUD) stigma. Additionally, she is a representative board member in the Regional Planning Consortium (RPC), a statewide collaborative that supports systems improvement for the integration of mental health, substance use disorder treatment, and physical healthcare through data informed initiatives that advance health outcomes for adults, children and communities.

Brite earned her Master’s Degree in Social Work from Stony Brook University and Bachelor of Science in Human and Community Services from SUNY Empire State. She received her CASAC through Outreach Training Institute and participated in SAMHSA’s Women’s Addiction Leadership Services Institute.
