Tessa Ronan

Tessa Ronan is a Senior Perception Engineer at Outrider, specializing in lidar based object detection and tracking using deep learning. Tessa also has experience as a Senior Motion Planning and Controls Engineer, leading development in autonomously hitching and unhitching trailers, and software control of vehicle functions. Additionally, Tessa has worked as an Embedded Software Engineer automating first mile trucking. Prior to Outrider, Tessa worked at Cypress Semiconductor Corporation as a Senior System Engineer, focusing on firmware development for automotive BT/BLE chips and BLE Angle of Arrival systems. Tessa holds a Master's Degree in Electronic Systems from Dublin City University and a Bachelor's Degree in Applied Physics from the same university.
