Russell Brausse

Russell Brausse, P. Eng, currently serves as Senior Manager of Canadian Facility Engineering & Construction at Ovintiv since July 2020, overseeing Wellsites & Pipelines, Key Projects, Operations Engineering, Infrastructure Planning, and Construction. Prior to Ovintiv, Russell held multiple managerial roles at Encana Corporation from August 2007 to July 2020, including positions focused on Duvernay Development, Reservoir Characterization, and Dawson South Development, where significant achievements included the management of a multi-rig program and the successful exploitation of liquid-rich resources. Before his tenure at Encana, Russell worked at Husky Energy in various engineering roles, contributing to reserve evaluations, production optimization, and operations support. Russell holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Calgary and a Fundamentals of Engineering Certificate.
