Andrea Montoya is a seasoned design professional with extensive experience in user experience (UX) and interaction design across various sectors. Currently serving as Principal UX Designer at Owlet Baby Care since March 2022, Andrea previously held roles including Design Lead at BASIC®, where contributions included innovative design solutions for clients like Google and Amazon. As Sr Interactive Visual Designer at Magic Leap, Andrea was instrumental in developing mixed-reality product experiences, particularly leading visual design for the Helio Browser. Earlier career highlights include impactful roles at Billabong as Senior Interaction & UX Designer and Bedrosians Tile and Stone as Lead UI/UX Designer. Andrea co-founded Usko Creative, focusing on brand development through design, and began a design career at CBS News. Educational credentials include a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) in Graphic Design from Florida Atlantic University.
