John Beaulaurier

John Beaulaurier is a seasoned bioinformatician with extensive experience in genomic applications and bioinformatics. Currently serving as Principal Bioinformatician at Oxford Nanopore Technologies since April 2018, John has held several leadership roles, including Genomic Applications Bioinformatics Manager and Team Leader. Prior to this, John completed a PhD in Biomedical Sciences at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, with a dissertation focused on epigenetic heterogeneity in microbial genomes. John's professional experience includes positions in bioinformatics at Pacific Biosciences, where contributions to bioinformatics verification were made, and Rosetta Inpharmatics, where custom analyses informed gene expression networks related to complex diseases. Educational credentials include a PhD from the Icahn School of Medicine, an M.S. from Ecole Centrale de Paris, and a B.S. in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Michigan.
