Benjamin Shafer

Benjamin Shafer is an experienced acoustical scientist and technical services manager with over a decade of expertise in sound damping wall and ceiling materials. Currently serving as Technical Services Manager for Acoustic Systems at PABCO® Gypsum, Benjamin leads research and development efforts, optimizes manufacturing processes, and provides acoustical consulting for construction projects. Previous roles include Director of Acoustics at Serious Energy, where Benjamin managed regional operations and provided technical support, and Building Acoustics Scientist at Conestoga-Rovers & Associates, where significant contributions were made in field measurements, computational programs, and educational outreach for architects and engineers. Benjamin holds a Master's and Bachelor's degree in Physics with a focus on Acoustics from Brigham Young University.
