Kelly McHugh is an accomplished Earth Scientist currently serving at the Pacific Northwest National Laboratory since June 2017, with a focus on enhanced thermal ionization mass spectrometry. Prior to this role, Kelly was a Post-doctorate Research Associate and a Graduate Assistant at Miami University, where a Doctor of Philosophy in Geology was earned. Kelly also held the position of President of the Miami University Graduate Student Association from May 2016 to April 2017. Additional experience includes an internship at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory through the Glenn T. Seaborg Nuclear Forensics and Environmental Radiochemistry Summer Internship Program, and an internship at the U.S. Geological Survey during the NAGT/USGS Cooperative Field Training Program. Kelly holds a Bachelor of Science in Geology from Miami University, completed in 2011.
