Michael Kasper

Michael Kasper has a diverse work experience spanning several industries.

Michael began their career in 2006 as a Guest Service Representative at Marriott International and later served as an Operations Intern at a Hilton Head resort property, where they contributed to achieving high guest satisfaction scores.

In 2009, they returned to Marriott International as an Operations Supervisor, overseeing front desk, housekeeping, and F&B departments. Michael also handled customer service during a lobby and restaurant renovation. Later, they transitioned into a Group Sales Manager role, collaborating with hotel stakeholders, area sales, and business development teams to increase program closures and revenue.

From 2011 to 2017, Michael joined Room & Board as a Design & Sales Associate. In this leadership role, they exceeded sales goals, customer satisfaction, and spearheaded an initiative that significantly reduced showroom returns.

In 2017, they rejoined Marriott International as a Group and Catering Sales Leader at the Northern Mid America Sales Office. During their time, they led a remote team of 9 group sales managers and successfully negotiated contracts, exceeding sales and revenue goals.

Starting in 2021, Michael worked at Noble House Hotels & Resorts as a Business & Leisure Travel Manager. Michael specialized in managing both business and leisure travel operations.

Currently, Michael holds the position of Director of Sales at Palisociety, where they utilize their expertise in sales to drive revenue growth.

Overall, Michael has acquired extensive experience in sales, business development, group and catering sales, customer service, and operations management throughout their career.

Michael Kasper attended Illinois State University from 2005 to 2009, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing & Sales. In December 2021, they obtained a Google Project Management Professional Certificate from Coursera.
