Ryan Rogers

Ryan Rogers has a diverse work experience in various roles and companies.

From 2019 to present, they have been working at Parity Inc. Ryan started as a Building Intelligence Engineer (EIT) and later became a Team Lead for Projects. In October 2021, they were promoted to Director of Operations, and in July 2022, they were further promoted to Vice President of Operations.

In 2019, they also worked as a Consultant, Thermal Grid at Sidewalk Labs for a period of 7 months.

Prior to that, Ryan worked at McMaster University from 2015 to 2019. Ryan was a Masters candidate and conducted research on low temperature thermal networks. Ryan also worked as a Research Assistant at the Thermal Management Research Laboratory, where they contributed to the design and development of an energy recovery system and sustainable energy systems laboratory.

Additionally, Ryan held several positions at the McMaster Engineering Society from 2012 to 2016. Ryan served as the President, Vice President External, Associate Vice President of Clubs and Sponsors, and First Year Representative. In these roles, they managed budgets, organized events, represented students' concerns at conferences, and led student delegations.

Furthermore, they worked as a Camp Instructor at McMaster University from 2013 to 2014, where they planned and taught a week-long curriculum on various science and engineering topics to elementary school students.

Ryan Rogers has a Bachelor of Engineering and Management (B.Eng.) degree in Mechanical Engineering from McMaster University, which they obtained from 2012 to 2017. Following their undergraduate studies, Ryan pursued further education at McMaster University, where they completed a Master of Applied Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from 2017 to 2019.
