Julie Rizzo

Julie Rizzo is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in corporate law and securities regulation. Currently serving as a Partner at K&L Gates since August 2021 and as Counsel at Parker Poe Adams & Bernstein LLP since November 2019, Julie has a strong background as Corporate Counsel at Red Hat from February 2013 to August 2019, where contributions included navigating a significant $34 billion acquisition by IBM and overseeing securities law compliance. Prior roles include Attorney-Advisor at the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission from July 2007 to July 2012, and Attorney at Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe LLP from September 2002 to June 2007, focusing on asset-backed securitizations.
