Gilles Seutin is the Chief Scientist at Parks Canada, where they manage a team that provides expert ecosystem-science advice to senior managers regarding protected areas and emerging science issues. With extensive experience in biodiversity conservation, Gilles has worked on protected areas in Canada and Latin America, contributing to global policy through the Convention on Biological Diversity and the World Heritage Convention.
